Abstract:
A showcase (1) according to the present invention includes a refrigeration cycle device (100) including a refrigerant circuit in which a compressor (110), a condenser (120), a throttling device (130), and an evaporator (140) are connected by piping and through which a refrigerant is circulated, and is provided with a storage compartment (11) into which air cooled by the evaporator (140) is sent, wherein the refrigeration cycle device (100) includes, in the refrigerant circuit, bypass piping (160) having one end connected to the piping connecting the compressor (110) and the condenser (120) and another end connected to the piping connecting the throttling device (130) and the evaporator (140), and a passage adjusting device which permits or stops the passage of the refrigerant through the bypass piping, and wherein the showcase (1) is provided with an in-compartment temperature sensor (30) for detecting an in-compartment temperature inside the storage compartment, an in-compartment blower (15) which sends air that has been passed through the evaporator (140) with a flow rate based on a blower driving frequency into the storage compartment (11), and a control device (200) which, when defrosting the evaporator (140), controls the blower driving frequency of the in-compartment blower (15) on the basis of the in-compartment temperature as detected by the in-compartment temperature sensor (30), and controls the in-compartment temperature to be at most equal to an in-compartment upper limit temperature that is set in advance.
