Abstract:
Provided is a shower device that can make the thickness of a film of water more uniform and increase the length of the film of water. This shower device comprises: a casing that is connected to a shower head body; an annular member that is disposed inside the casing and that forms a water discharge channel to discharge, as a film of water, the water supplied from between the inner circumferential face of the casing and the outer circumferential face of the annular member; and a water sprinkling member that is disposed inside the annular member and that discharges the supplied water as a flow of shower water. The inner circumferential face of the casing and the outer circumferential face of the annular member have tapered portions that incline or curve so that the diameter of the water discharge channel is larger toward the discharge opening. The width dimension of the water discharge channel, at least in a preset space on the upstream side from the discharge opening in the water discharge direction, is configured to be uniform across the entire circumference.
