Abstract:
A showerhead (10) comprises a showerhead body (13) at the base of which a water introduction
port (11) is formed and a water spray part (18) formed at the tip end of the showerhead
body (13) and having water spray holes (16). The showerhead body (13) comprises
a tubular grip part (27) including a water flow passage (12) which is formed in
the tubular grip part and at the base of which the water introduction port (11)
is formed, and a water discharge head part (28) integrally connected to the tip
end of the grip part (27). A cavitation-generating mechanism (57) for partially
generating cavitation by change in the cross section of flowing water is provided
in a space part (20) surrounded by the water discharge head part (28) and the water
spray part (18).
