Abstract:
A shredder (1) capable of effectively reducing the sizes of almost spalls determined by the squares (21a) on the surface of a lower roll (7), comprising a pair of upper rolls (5, 6), the lower roll (7) on the underside of the upper rolls, and knives (8, 9) projected from the inner face of a case (4) to a lower roll (7) side stored in the case (4) having a hopper (2) at an upper end and a discharge port (3) at a lower end, characterized in that a large number of annular grooves (25) are provided in the lower roll (7) and rotary disk cutters (27) are fitted into the annular grooves (25) under the knives (8, 9), whereby, since the lower roll (7) has polyhedral column−like mounting seats (13) for installing cutter blocks (14), the annular grooves (25) can be formed between the adjacent mounting seats (13) having a plurality of cutter blocks (14) installed on the same circumference thereof.
