Abstract:
The present invention relates to a shredder equipped with: a housing (1 - 2) having an insertion opening (26a) for inserting material to be shredded; a shredding mechanism (3) for shredding the material to be shredded, which has been inserted into the insertion opening, by a shredding blade (37); a waste container (7) disposed such that shredding waste shredded by the shredding mechanism can be contained within the housing and so as to be removable and insertable in the housing; and a waste leveling mechanism (4) that can move from the front side of the waste container where the waste container is removed and inserted toward the rear side in an inclined downward direction so as to have the upper surface of the shredding waste that accumulates in the waste container leveled. Thus, with the present invention, housing space is used effectively, and the number of emptying operations for the shredding waste is effectively reduced.
