Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a shrink tube which can be used without performing previous insertion, and has superior covering characteristics. In order to attain this objective, a molding material is subjected to extrusion molding to form a tube, and the obtained tube is heated, and then, expanded. Upon heating the tube, the heating temperature in the circumferential direction of the tube is biased to form a high temperature heating area which is heated at a relatively high temperature, so that a thin portion extending along the entire longitudinal direction of the expanded tube is formed. Then, a slit extending along the entire longitudinal direction of the tube is formed on the thin portion of the expanded tube, to obtain a shrink tube with a slit.
