Abstract:
The present invention relates to a shrinkable and expandable device (1) comprising a center (2), three or more shrinkable and expandable arms (3), which are connected to the center (2), at least one power source (4), at least one motor (5) with a switch (6), wherein the motor (5) is connected to the power source (4) and the arms (3), at least one shrink element (7) to shrink the arms (3), and at least one expansion element (8) to expand the arms (3), wherein the shrinking and/or expansion of the arms (3) is powered by the motor (5). Claimed also is a process to make the device (1) and uses of the device (1), e.g. as an umbrella, tent, parachute, safety equipment and a number of various industrial uses.
