A shutdown device control method and apparatus, and a shutdown device. After receiving a heartbeat signal, N main switching tubes are turned on, such that N photovoltaic assemblies can output direct currents by means of the N corresponding main switching tubes; if power supply voltage abnormality occurs to a processor after the N main switching tubes are turned on, i.e., when a power supply voltage of the processor in the shutdown device is less than a first under-voltage protection voltage of the processor itself, N bypass switching tubes are controlled to be turned on, and the N main switching tubes are controlled to be shut down, so as to separate the N photovoltaic assemblies and N main switching tubes corresponding to the shutdown device from a plurality of photovoltaic assembly groups that are connected in series and are connected to an inverter, such that photovoltaic assembly groups corresponding to other shutdown devices can normally output direct current voltages to the inverter, and thus the inverter can normally output an alternating current to be combined into a power grid. Therefore, a photovoltaic system can work normally, and the reliability of the photovoltaic system is improved.
