Abstract:
A shutter device includes: a first light shielding member which is located in front of an image-capturing area of an image-capturing element and which travels along a predetermined traveling direction so as to shield a beam of light from a subject; and a second light shielding member which is located in front of the image-capturing area of the image-capturing element and which travels along a traveling direction so as to shield a beam of light, the shutter device being adapted such that at least one of the length of the light shielding range of the first light shielding member in the traveling direction and the length of the light shielding range of the second light shielding member in the traveling direction is shorter than the length of the image-capturing area in the traveling direction.
