Abstract:
A shuttle type conveying system capable of efficiently conveying articles,
such as microplates, by a shuttle conveying part reciprocating on a conveying
route. The system has a feeding and collecting device (40) capable of setting
a cassette (80), in which the articles (95) to be conveyed are stacked, directly
on a rotary feeding table; a pickup device (50) for taking out the articles (95)
and placing them on a receiving/delivering table (R1); and a conveying device
(10) for conveying the articles on the reception/delivery table to another reception/delivery
table by the shuttle conveying part (11) traveling on the conveying routes (La
to Lc) formed under the receiving/delivering table (R1). After the articles
are raised by the shuttle conveying part and moved to the outside of the receiving/delivering
table, they are lowered to below the reception/delivery table. Then, the shuttle
conveying part travels under the receiving/delivering table with the articles
placed on it, conveying the article to other delivery tables (R2 to R4).
