Abstract:
The disclosed side buffer (2) has a base (23) on which a FOUP (6) is placed, a restricting part (291), an article-receiving part (292), and a linking part (293). The restricting part (291) can move between a restricting position and a retracted position. In the restricting position, the restricting part (291) restricts the tilt of the FOUP (6) on the base (23). In the retracted position, the restricting part (291) allows the FOUP (6) to move between the base (23) and a position directly above the base (23). The article-receiving part (292) is disposed so as to receive force from the FOUP (6) placed on the base (23). Said force causes the linking part (293) to move the restricting part (291) from the retracted position to the restricting position.
