Abstract:
A side cover of a vertical diesel engine is provided, wherein a upper wind collecting passage
(23), a crankshaft bearing saddle bore,a joint flange (19) and a lower wind collecting
passage (24) are provided at the side cover body (8), the end surface with the flange
of the side cover body is provided with a joint flange (25), at which screw hole
bosses (26) are disposed, the side cover surface of the side cover body is a plane,
the side cover body is provided with positioning pin holes (21) and screw holes
(20). The side cover is simple structure, which can seal the crankcase of the vertical
diesel engine and support the crankshaft, and can collect cooling air that cools
the cylinder cover, cylinder body and grease-box of the vertical diesel engine
to cool the muffle and exhaust pipe. Thereby the step cooling to the heated parts
of the power generating unit is obtained.
