Abstract:
To solve the above problem, a side folding apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention, which is a folding apparatus for folding a side formed in a battery case of a pouch type secondary battery to extend out of a cup portion, comprises a body which has a plate shape and is longitudinally arranged in the lengthwise direction of the secondary battery adjacent to the side, wherein: the body comprises a heating part which is disposed at one side thereof and heats a relatively inwardly positioned inner portion of the side, and a pressure part which is disposed at the other side thereof and presses a relatively outwardly positioned outer portion of the side; and when the heating part heats the inner portion, the body rotates and the pressure part presses the outer portion.
