Abstract:
Provided is a side light-emitting optical-fiber illumination apparatus, comprising a lower housing (1) which is provided with an internal cavity and which is open at the top and an upper housing (2) mounted at the top of the lower housing (1); a closed cavity is internally equipped with a circuit board (3) and a metal panel (4); an LED lamp bead is fastened to the metal panel (4); a heat-conductive medium is filled between the LED lamp bead (5) and the metal panel (4); the side face of the lower housing (1) is provided with at least two connector holes; a side light-emitting optical fiber (6) fixed by means of an optical-fiber fixing connector and extending into the closed cavity passes through one of the connectors; the side light-emitting optical fiber (6) and the LED lamp bead (5) are optically coupled, then guide the lamp light out to the side light-emitting optical fiber (6) to form a line light source. In the illumination apparatus, the LED lamp bead (5) is taken to be a light source and coupled with the side light-emitting optical fiber (6), then a line light-source transmission light beam is formed by way of the side light-emitting optical fiber (6); at the same time, the LED lamp bead (5) and metal panel (4), upper housing (2), and lower housing (1) form a good metal heat-conductive connection, which enables the heat generated by the LED lamp bead (5) to pass through the metal panel (4) and the upper housing (2) and be quickly guided outward.
