Abstract:
A side-opening package is provided with: a substantially rectangular parallelepiped-shaped inner box which is open at the top; a flap which covers the open end, leaving a part thereof open as an extraction opening for extracting an object contained in the package; and an outer lid which is pivotally connected to the inner box through a hinge which is formed along one side wall of the inner box in the width direction thereof, the outer lid at least having an upper face wall for covering the extraction opening when the outer lid is closed. In an interconnection section which is provided in at least a part of the inner box in the width direction thereof, the flap is interconnected with the front wall of the inner box.
