Abstract:

A side pull door for a railway vehicle comprises a door body (100) and a drive device used for opening and closing the door body. When the door body (100) is closed, the outer surface of the door body (100) is flush with the outer surface of a vehicle body. The moving track of the side pull door is set to be reciprocating movements of an arc-shape and a direct line shape. When the door body is closed, the outer surface of the door body is flush with the outer surface of the vehicle body, and accordingly no height difference exists between the doorway of the side pull door and the vehicle body and snow accumulation at the doorway during operation under an alpine work condition is avoided, thereby reducing the risk of freezing a door plank.
