Abstract:
This run-flat radial tire (10) comprises: a side reinforcement rubber layer (26) that extends in the tire radial direction along the inner surface of a carcass (22); and an inclined belt layer (24A) provided on the outer side of the carcass (22) in the tire radial direction. The tire cross-sectional height SH and the overlapping width L between the maximum-width inclined belt layer and the side reinforcement rubber layer satisfy L > 0.14×SH. The thickness GD of the side reinforcement rubber layer at a position on the inner side, in the tire axial direction, from the end, in the tire axial direction, of the maximum-width inclined belt layer by a distance of 14% of the tire cross-sectional height and the thickness GA of the side reinforcement rubber layer at a position of the maximum width of the carcass satisfy GD/GA ≥ 0.3.
