Abstract:
This side seal for a linear guide is affixed at both ends in the direction of linear motion of a guide rail to the slider of a linear guide provided with the guide rail, the slider, and a plurality of rolling bodies, and the portion between the slider and both end surfaces and top surface of the guide rail is sealed by a lip section. The side seal (1) has a plurality of seal members (2, 3) independently having the lip section (21, 31), and the plurality of seal members (2, 3) are joined in a manner able to move in a relative manner in a direction perpendicular to the direction of linear motion.
