A side stand switch 5 in which variability in the magnitude of a torque generated by means of relative rotation between a rotor main body and a torque accepting member is suppressed while cracking of the rotor main body is prevented is provided with a rotor member 32 which has a movable contact 54 and which is capable of rotating in synchronism with a side stand bar 3, and a case member 31 which has a fixed contact 43 and which rotatably holds the rotor member 32, wherein: a state of electrical connection between the movable contact 54 and the fixed contact 43 switches in accordance with rotation of the rotor member 32; the rotor member 32 includes a rotor main body 51 which is formed from a resin and which has a cylindrical insertion hole 56 penetrating therethrough in the direction of the axis of rotation, and a torque accepting member 52 which is formed from a metal and which engages inside the insertion hole 51 in such a way as to be capable of rotating relative to the rotor main body 51; and the torque accepting member 52 includes a rotation restricting portion 72 which restricts relative rotation relative to the rotor main body 51, in a portion, in the direction of the axis of rotation, of a surface of contact with the rotor main body 51.
