Abstract:
Provided is a side stand switch that makes it possible to appropriately retain a sealing member without excessively increasing manufacturing burden. The side stand switch comprises: a rotor unit including a rotating body that rotates in coordination with a side stand; a case portion including a through hole through which the rotating body is inserted; and a sealing member including a tubular body composed of a stiff member extending in a rotational axis direction of the rotating body and a sealing portion composed of an elastic member and fixed to the tubular body. The sealing member is disposed by press-fitting between the rotating body and the through hole. The sealing portion is provided with: a first elastic portion that is formed with a uniform thickness on an outer side of the tubular body and is press-fit to an inner peripheral face of the through hole; and a second elastic portion that is provided on an inner side of the tubular body and slidably faces an outer peripheral face of the rotating body. The inner peripheral face of the through hole includes, in a position facing the tubular body, an airtight portion and a retainment portion that is positioned inner than the airtight portion in the case portion. The first elastic portion arranged to face the airtight portion is compressed in an air-tight manner. The through hole increases in diameter in the retainment portion.
