Abstract:
A side wall structure (20) of a freight car and a railway freight car. The side wall structure (20) comprises a side wall plate (201), notches (20a) penetrating through from the inside to the outside are formed on two ends of the upper portion of the side wall plate (201), and openings of the notches (20a) face upwards; the side wall structure (20) further comprises reinforcing plates (203), and the reinforcing plates (203) are arranged on the inner side of the side wall plate (201) and at least correspond to the positions of the notches (20a) so as to seal the notches (20a) from the inner side. The height of the side wall plate (201) is increased and is basically higher than that of an end wall structure (30).
