Abstract:
The invention relates to a sight door for an apparatus with high inner temperature, more particularly for a home oven or a drying oven, comprising an array of at least two interspaced sheets of glass, glass ceramic or a corresponding transparent and heat-resistant material, said array being supported by a common frame that is made of a low heat-conductive material. The inner dimensions of the frame supporting the array of sheets is larger at all points than the dimensions of the opening of the apparatus. A seal closes the framed sight door against the frame of the opening of the apparatus along a line located inside the frame supporting the sheets.
