Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a sight line detection device in which, when the eye for which sight line detection is to be performed is switched, a reliability relating to the result of sight line estimation from before to after switching is outputted. This sight line detection device includes: an estimation object selection unit for selecting a sight line estimation object eye of a sight line detection subject, as one sight line detection mode among a plurality of switchable sight line detection modes; a sight line estimation unit for estimating the sight line of the sight line detection subject in the one sight line detection mode; a reliability determination unit for determining, on the basis of a first sight line as the sight line before the sight line detection mode is switched by selection by the estimation object selection unit, and a second sight line as the sight line after the sight line detection mode is switched, the reliability of the second sight line after the sight line detection mode is switched; and a sight line direction outputting unit for outputting information of the second sight line and the reliability of the second sight line.
