Title:
SIGNAGE SERVER, SIGNAGE SYSTEM, AND CONTENT DELIVERY METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2017/154538
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to enable efficient simultaneous download delivery of signage content to multiple signage terminals. A signage server (3) is provided with: a content database (22) for storing signage content associated with signage terminals (5) to which the signage content is to be delivered; a terminal state/storage status management unit (25) which acquires, from the signage terminals (5) to which the signage content is to be delivered, state information indicating the states of the signage terminals, and stores said state information; and a delivery control unit (24) which has, pre-stored therein, a delivery priority level policy defining the priority levels for delivery to the signage terminals (5), said priority levels corresponding to the states of the signage terminals (5). When a delivery command is received, the delivery control unit implements delivery control in which it is determined, on the basis of the state information and the delivery priority level policy, whether or not delivery should be performed immediately for each of the signage terminals (5) to which the signage content is to be delivered, and delivery to the signage terminals (5) for which it has been determined that delivery should be immediately performed is performed immediately, and delivery to the signage terminals (5) for which it has been determined that delivery should not to be immediately performed is postponed.
