Abstract:
To achieve the objective of highly accurately measuring a fluorescence life by lowering system response influence without speeding up the system response or carrying out deconvolution, this signal acquisition device (1) is provided with: a light source unit (2) for generating pulsed laser light at a specific repetition period, an optical system (4) for concentrating the laser light onto a sample (X) and concentrating generated fluorescence, a detection unit (6) for detecting the concentrated fluorescence, an A/D conversion unit (8) for sampling an intensity signal for the detected fluorescence in synchronization with the repetition period of the light source unit (2) at a period that is an integer multiple of the repetition period and generating a digital intensity signal, a first calculation unit (10) for acquiring a fluorescence life waveform on the basis of the generated digital intensity signal, and a second calculation unit (10) for calculating a fluorescence life coefficient from the waveform obtained by removing an area not corresponding to an exponential function from the acquired fluorescence life waveform.
