Abstract:
A signal control device (2) equipped with a processor for providing signal control information for controlling a traffic signal installed at an intersection, wherein the processor is configured so as to calculate a signal-waiting count for vehicles with respect to multiple vehicle flow directions at the intersection and, on the basis of the signal-waiting count, determines an adjustment value for an allowable transit time with respect to signal control information for the traffic signal and related to the vehicle flow directions.
