Abstract:
A signal conversion device equipped with: a converter that outputs a 1-bit quantization signal representing a band-transmission system analog signal; and an encoding unit that executes a base band transmission path encoding process with respect to the 1-bit quantization signal. The base band transmission path encoding process is a process whereby a frequency conversion is performed with respect to the aforementioned analog signal, and is a base band transmission path encoding process whereby encoding is performed such that the frequency of appearance of two types of bit values in the 1-bit quantization signal differs.
