A voltage converter, specifically comprising a rectifying device (100), a preceding-stage energy storage device (200), a direct current-direct current conversion device (300), a later-stage energy storage device (400), a control conversion device (500), and a switch control device (600). The rectifying device (100), the preceding-stage energy storage device (200), the direct current-direct current conversion device (300), and the later-stage energy storage device (400) are connected in sequence. The preceding-stage energy storage device (200) is connected to a positive electrode of a power supply or is grounded. The later-stage energy storage device (400) is connected to a to-be-driven load (700) and provides electricity for the load (700). The control conversion device (500) is connected to a control line and the switch control device (600) separately. The switch control device (600) is connected to the later-stage energy storage device (400) and the load (700). The voltage converter enables a high voltage control signal to carry a low voltage load and a low voltage control signal to carry a high voltage load, or the voltage converter is applied to a load that is inconvenient to have a high voltage, so as to change the load into a high voltage load, thereby achieving matching between a switch control signal and a load.
