Abstract:
A signal detection method and device, and a touch chip. The method is used to detect an active pen and/or a finger on a touch screen. The touch screen is provided with a connection member used to secure the active pen. A detection circuit is provided at the connection member. The method comprises: determining, according to a signal output by the detection circuit, whether the active pen is secured at the touch screen (210); if it is determined that the active pen is secured at the touch screen, switching a detection mode of the touch screen to a first detection mode (220), wherein detection is only performed for a finger in the first detection mode; and if it is determined that the active pen is not secured at the touch screen, switching the detection mode of the touch screen to a second detection mode (230), wherein detection is performed for the active pen and a finger in the second detection mode. The method realizes the function of an active pen and meets the requirement of touch operations to be performed on a touch screen by users.
