Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention discloses a signal gain control method, a communication system, a media gateway (MG) and a media gateway controller (MGC). The MG receives the control information for adjusting the signal gain based on the direct setting mode or the incremental mode relative to the current value from the MGC. The MG performs the gain adjustment on the corresponding signal to be adjusted according to the control information. The MGC sends the control information to the MG via the extended (media) gateway control protocol to implement the gain adjustment.
