Abstract:
Provided in the present invention is a signal modulation method, characterized in that the method comprises: generating a pulse waveform of a transmitting signal, the width of the pulse waveform being τ, in which each pulse waveform is associated with n symbols (n>1), and the width of each symbol being Δτ，Δτ=τ/n; calculating each n successive symbols in a symbol stream to be sent and the pulse waveform according to a predetermined operation mode, so as to generate a correlation signal of the symbols and the pulse waveform; sending the correlation signal by means of a transmission channel. The present invention facilitates the improvement of the spectrum efficiency of a system. The present invention generates A mutual restrain is generated by means of a correlation between symbols and spreads information symbols into multiple symbols, which can enhance the ability of the signal to resist the noise and attenuation.
