Abstract:
Provided are a signal pre-compensation method and apparatus, applied to an optical signal sending device. Said method comprises: determining at least one target frequency sub-band from a plurality of frequency sub-bands of a first optical signal; according to the at least one target frequency sub-band, demodulating an optical signal of the at least one target frequency sub-band in the first optical signal, to obtain a first electrical signal; and according to the at least one target frequency sub-band, the first electrical signal and a second electrical signal, updating pre-compensation parameters, wherein the pre-compensation parameters are used to perform signal pre-compensation on the second electrical signal, and the second electrical signal, after being subjected to pre-compensation, generates the first optical signal. As the update of the pre-compensation parameters needs no feedback from a receiving device, the costs caused by the configuration of a feedback channel can be reduced, reducing delays in updating the pre-compensation parameters, improving the accuracy of the pre-compensation process, thereby improving the communication performance. Furthermore, as it is to demodulate an optical signal of a target frequency sub-band, the bandwidth requirements on a demodulation device are reduced, and costs are reduced.
