Abstract:
The present technique relates to a signal processing device, a signal processing method, and a program which enable a reduction in the number of pins for transmitting and receiving data. A signal processing device is provided with a signal transmission unit which classifies signals to be delivered between processing units each for processing an acquired signal, and time-division multiplexes and transmits signals in each of groups into which the classification has been made. The classification is performed depending on at least one characteristic among the updating cycle, updating timing, and allowable transmission delay of each of the signals. The signals in each of the groups are time-division multiplexed such that the transmission is completed within the updating period, the transmission is completed within the allowable delay range, and the transmission is performed by a minimum number of pins. This technique is applicable to a reception device which receives and processes airwaves.
