Abstract:
The present technique relates to a signal processing device and method, and a program for enabling a decrease in processing load while ensuring safety. The signal processing device is provided with: a control unit which acquires designation information indicating a designated portion of output data which is to be encrypted; and an encryption processing unit which encrypts the designated portion of the output data indicated by the designation information, using a key. The designated portion indicated by the designation information is adapted to change over time. The present technique may be applied in an onboard camera, for example.
