Abstract:
A signal processing device (10) is configured to comprise: an even function multiplication unit (11) that multiplies, by a first window function represented by an even function, a beat signal generated from a transmission signal the frequency of which changes with the passage of time and a transmission signal after reflection by an object (5) the distance of which is to be measured; an odd function multiplication unit (12) that multiplies the beat signal by a second window function represented by an odd function; a first Fourier transformation unit (13) that transforms the beat signal multiplied by the first window function by the even function multiplication unit (11) into a first frequency domain signal, which is a signal in a frequency domain; and a second Fourier transformation unit (14) that transforms the beat signal multiplied by the second window function by the odd function multiplication unit (12) into a second frequency domain signal, which is a signal in the frequency domain. The signal processing device (10) further comprises a distance calculation unit (15) that searches for a modulation bandwidth of a transmission signal when the ratio of a second frequency component contained in the second frequency domain signal to a first frequency component contained in the first frequency domain signal is less than a threshold, and calculates the distance from a radar device (1) to the object (5) on the basis of the result of the search for the modulation bandwidth, or a distance calculation unit (16) that searches for the interval width of a finite interval in each of the first window function and the second window function when the ratio of the second frequency component contained in the second frequency domain signal to the first frequency component contained in the first frequency domain signal is less than the threshold, and calculates the distance from the radar device (1) to the object (5) on the basis of the result of the search for the interval width.
