Abstract:
The present technology pertains to a signal processing device and method capable of suppressing reduction of communication quality. On the basis of received electric power on all channels in a frequency band to be used for transmissions and receptions by means of a plurality of respective antennas, an antenna to be used for transmission or reception is selected from among the plurality of antennas, and a signal is transmitted or received by use of the selected antenna. On the basis of the orientation of a housing, an antenna to be used for transmission or reception is selected from among the plurality of antennas, and a signal is transmitted or received by use of the selected antenna. The present disclosure is applicable to, for example, a signal processing device, a transmission device, a reception device, a transmission/reception device, a communication device, an information processing device, an electronic device, a computer, a program, a storage medium, a system, and the like.
