Abstract:
The present technology relates to a signal processing device and a signal processing method which enable a duty ratio of a pulse to be easily adjusted. A phase comparison unit outputs a phase difference signal corresponding to a phase difference at rising edges or falling edges between a first pulse that is a reference at the time a duty ratio is adjusted and a second pulse of which the duty ratio is to be adjusted. A reference signal generation unit outputs a reference signal for starting a change according to the first pulse. A comparison unit outputs a compared output signal for showing a magnitude relationship between the phase difference signal and the reference signal, and the compared output signal is fed back as the second pulse. The present technology can be applied to a case in which the duty ratio of a pulse is adjusted.
