Title:
SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE FOR ROTATION SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/029572
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In the present invention, the instantaneous rotational rate (Nm) of an input shaft is computed from the input cycle of a pulse signal from a rotation sensor, and the rotational rate (Nf) is computed by filter processing the instantaneous rotational rate (Nm). If a state, in which the rotational rate (Nf) is at least a slip determination speed (NSL) while a vehicle is stopped, continues for at least a slip determination duration (TSL), it is determined that a belt slip has occurred, and until the duration of non-input of the pulse signal exceeds a wheel lock response duration (TWL) that is longer than the slip determination duration (TSL), the rotational rate (Nf) immediately before is maintained. During a reference duration (TS1) after signal non-input has become an input state, if the instantaneous rotational rate (Nm) is in a zone between a first reference rate (NS1) and a second reference rate (NS2), the instantaneous rotational rate is immediately set to zero upon the occurrence of pulse signal non-input, and if the instantaneous rotational rate (Nm) is in a zone at or above the second reference rate (NS2), the value of the rotational rate (Nf) immediately before is maintained. Due to this configuration, erroneous determination of disconnection and belt slippage by an input rotation sensor in a belt-type continuously variable transmission connected to a power plant via a clutch can be prevented.
