Abstract:
Disclosed is a signal processing device provided with a first image memory for storing an input moving image of a plurality of screens; a slur amount calculation unit for calculating a slur amount of each screen of the input moving image; a slur amount holding unit for holding the slur amount calculated by the slur amount calculation unit in association with each screen of the input moving image; an image switching unit for selecting and outputting either the input moving image or the output of the first image memory; a noise reduction unit for outputting an image from which a noise is removed using the images of the plurality of screens from the image switching unit; a second image memory for storing at least one screen of the image from the noise reduction unit; and a freeze control unit which, in response to a freeze command, on the basis of the slur amounts held in the slur amount holding unit, reads out images of at least two screens including a screen having the minimum slur amount and required for removing the noise in the noise reduction unit from the first image memory, outputs from the image switching unit, and controls the second image memory so that the images of the screen having the minimum slur amount are continuously output.
