Abstract:

Disclosed in the embodiments of the present application is a signal processing method, which can be applied to a sending end. The sending end can obtain an LDPC coded signal according to a signal to be sent. Then, the LDPC coded signal is modulated into a PAM8 symbol. Furthermore, the PAM8 symbol is sent to a receiving end by means of a network cable. Therefore, in the embodiments of the present application, a LDPC coded signal is modulated by using PAM8, compared with modulating the LDPC coded signal by using PAM16, the distance between code words of a symbol which is obtained by means of modulation is increased, such that the fault tolerance of the modulated symbol is better, the stable transmission distance of the modulated symbol can thus be longer, and correspondingly, the distance of stable data transmission by a network cable can be increased. When the network cable is an HSYV, by means of the solution in the embodiments of the present application, even if the HSYV is bound by 100 meters, stable transmission at a 5G rate can also be realized.
