Abstract:
Disclosed are a signal processing method and a related device. The method may comprise: after receiving a distortion signal amplified by a power amplifier, a cable modem converting same into a digital signal, and using a compensation factor to perform non-linear compensation thereon. By means of the method, the power consumption of an HFC network can be reduced, and the quality of a signal received by a user terminal can also be improved. Furthermore, since the number of times signals received by CMs at different distances from an optical node device are amplified may be different, and the degree of non-linear distortion of the signals received by different CMs may be different, by means of the embodiments of the present invention, uniformly using a user terminal device (i.e. a CM) to compensate for a final signal can improve the network service capability to a definite extent.
