Abstract:
The present invention relates to a signal transmission connector which is connected to a to-be-inspected device and a test board of a tester and used to transmit electrical signals, wherein the device and the tester have different pitches. The signal transmission connector according to the present invention is formed by stacking a plurality of conductive sheets, each of which has: a plurality of through-holes formed in an insulating sheet made of a nonelastic insulating material; and conductive portions which are in the through-holes, and in which a plurality of conductive particles are vertically oriented in an elastic insulating material. The plurality of conductive sheets include: an upper conductive sheet which has upper conductive portions formed at each of the positions corresponding to terminals of the to-be-inspected device; a lower conductive sheet which has lower conductive portions formed at each of the positions corresponding to pads of the test board; and an intermediate conductive sheet which is disposed between the upper conductive sheet and the lower conductive sheet and formed by stacking a plurality of unit conductive sheets having intermediate conductive portions, wherein the vertically disposed intermediate conductive portions at least partially contact each other. The intermediate conductive portions of an upper unit conductive sheet in contact with the upper conductive sheet are at least partially in contact with the upper conductive portions, and the intermediate conductive portions of a lower unit conductive sheet in contact with the lower conductive sheet are at least partially in contact with the lower conductive portions.
