Abstract:
This signal transmission device has: a differential signal transmission unit that delivers a differential signal to a pair of signal wires comprising a first signal wire and a second signal wire; a single-ended signal transmission unit that delivers a single-ended signal having two mutually independent channels to the first signal wire and the second signal wire; and a filter unit that contains a first common mode filter and a second common mode filter. One of the output terminals of the differential signal transmission unit and one of the output terminals of the single-ended signal transmission unit are connected to the first signal wire via one of two inductors contained in the first common mode filter, and the other output terminal of the differential signal transmission unit and the other output terminal of the single-ended signal transmission unit are connected to the second signal wire via one of the two inductors connected contained in the second common mode filter.
