Abstract:

Disclosures are a signal transmission method, a signal transmission apparatus and a signal transmission system. The signal transmission method comprises a step of transmitting a test signal through at least one line; a step of receiving information regarding the test signal transmission status; and a step of changing the number of lines for transmitting a main signal, whereby suppressing power consumption and the generation of EMI in a more effective manner as compared with methods which transmit signals in accordance with a uniform TMDS system. Further, in cases where one of the communication lines is used for signal transmission, the method of the present invention enables the other communication line to be used for another communication purpose, differently from the TMDS system in which both of the two communication lines are used for signal transmission, thereby transmitting signals at a transmission speed which is two times faster than that of the TMDS system.
