Abstract:

The present application provides a signal transmission method and device. A radio remote unit (RRU) receives a first message sent by a central access point (AP), a first field of the first message being used to indicate a physical layer configuration state parameter of a message transmission, and configures the state of the message transmission according to the first field, and further sends to a station a second message including data according to the state of the message transmission, so that in the embodiments of the present application, the execution of the MAC layer function is moved to the central AP, thereby reducing the cost and power consumption of the RRU.
