Abstract:
Provided is a signal transmission system that achieves high signal transmission efficiency using a method for transmitting signals through differential components. The signal transmission system comprises: a transmitter that generates 2N (where N is an integer of 2 or more) binary signals having an equal number of zeroes and ones, by encoding a transmission signal, and transmits the 2N binary signals; 2N signal lines that transmit each of the 2N binary signals; and a receiver, which detects one bit pattern among a plurality of bit patterns that can be taken on by the 2N binary signals according to differential components between a plurality of signals involving 2N signals received via the 2N signal lines, and decodes the received signals on the basis of the one bit pattern that was detected.
