Abstract:
A silane coating, a metal workpiece and a surface coating method thereof. The coating comprises 5-20g/L of 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, 50-300mg/L cerium salt, 10-50mg/L nano oxide, 20-100g/L silane coupling agent, 10-50g/L ethanol, and a balance of water. The present silane coating forms a dense and firm silicone polymer coating with a metal surface by means of covalent bonding; said coating can block the intrusion of corrosive substances and improve the corrosion resistance of the metal, being suitable for use as a base later of an organic coating and also as a final protective layer.
