Abstract:
This press-molded silencer for automobiles includes a first fiber layer 110 and a second fiber layer 120. The first fiber layer 110 includes 60-99% by weight of a main fiber 115 which contains a non-melting component, and 1-40% by weight of a thermoplastic fiber 116. The second fiber layer 120 includes 50-100% by weight of a thermoplastic fiber 126. The silencer 1 may further include a third fiber layer 130 which includes 60-99% by weight of a main fiber 135 which contains a non-melting component, and 1-40% by weight of a thermoplastic fiber 136. The second fiber layer 120 may be located between the first fiber layer 110 and the third fiber layer 130.
