Abstract:
Provided is a structure of a silencer for leaf springs capable of preventing squeaking noise and of improving durability. These leaf spring silencers (1) are arranged between the leaves (60a-60c) which configure the leaf spring (6) and which are adjacent in the stacking direction of the leaves (60a-60c),
in these arrangement positions, the leaf spring silencers (1) have a thickness (d1, d2) greater than the maximum value of the gaps (t1, t2) occurring, in the vehicle where the leaf spring (6) is assumed to be mounted, between adjacent leaves (60a-60c) due to flexure of the leaf spring (6). In the arrangement positions between the adjacent leaves (60), a gradient is added in the thickness of the leaf spring silencers (1) such that the leaf spring silencers (1) becomes thicker nearer to the end of the leaf springs (6) in the longitudinal direction (d2>d1).
