Abstract:

The present invention relates to a silica aerogel production system which can increase the production speed of silica aerogel and can improve the production efficiency or productivity of silica aerogel. The silica aerogel production system according to the present invention comprises: a raw material supply unit for delivering, to a mixing unit, at least one of raw materials including purified water, water glass, a surface modifier, an inorganic acid, and an organic solvent; the mixing unit for mixing the raw materials delivered from the raw material supply unit to produce wet silica gel; a drying unit for drying the wet silica gel to produce silica aerogel; a recovery unit for recovering some vaporized raw materials among the raw materials used in at least one of the mixing unit and the drying unit; and a heat transfer unit for transferring heat to at least one of the mixing unit and the drying unit, wherein the system further comprises a pulverizing unit for pulverizing the raw materials delivered from the raw material supply unit to the mixing unit.
